Candidates should have a certificate of paralegal studies or equivalent, at least five years previous experience in a paralegal capacity, knowledge of civil legal procedures (including deadlines, filing and service requirements), excellent writing and verbal communication skills, ability to type 65+ wpm, and knowledge of MS word. Job duties include, but are not limited to: negotiate with insurance adjusters, write demands, interface with medical providers, draft correspondence, meet with clients and prepare for depositions and mediations.
